About Our Surveys

IALDF conducts surveys as part of our research, education, and legal advocacy initiatives to document the real-world impact of U.S. policies on Iranian Americans and the broader community. Your responses provide the data and personal narratives that form the foundation of our reports, public awareness campaigns, and legal advocacy efforts. Every voice strengthens our collective case for reform.

Your privacy and security are our highest priority. Your participation may remain entirely anonymously — no personally identifiable information will be published without your explicit written consent. All responses are used solely for IALDF’s research, education, and legal advocacy purposes. For a detailed overview of how your data will be used and your rights as a participant, please see the privacy notice within each survey.

FLAGSHIP INITIATIVE

America's Missed Opportunity

America's Missed Opportunity (AMO) documents what happens when the U.S. shuts the door on exceptional Iranian talent by the Travel Ban policy. Through comprehensive surveys and a landmark  impact report. AMO reframes Iranian immigration as what it truly is — a national asset. The cost of exclusion is not borne by students and participants alone, it is shared by America itself.

DOCUMENTING THE IMPACT

USCIS Adjudication Pause Survey

The USCIS adjudication pause has left thousands of Iranians legally present in the U.S. in limbo — unable to move forward with pending visa applications, employment authorizations, and status adjustments. Many face the threat of losing their jobs, falling out of legal status, or being forced to abandon years of education and professional development in the United States.

This survey is a central component of IALDF's ongoing effort to advocate for the rights of Iranian nationals and educate the broader public about the human cost of immigration policy disruptions.
